- The Foundation is a grantmaking organisation, distributing funds to charities and community groups around the world, on behalf of individuals, charitable trusts and companies. Quite simply, we assist people to give, effectively.
- As a charity, we offer the maximum tax benefit in setting up a charitable fund at the Foundation (often a more cost-effective vehicle for giving than a charitable trust), and we can support you in achieving the best solution through a transfer of cash or shares.
- We provide a transparent process, from grant management to the way in which we conduct business and charge for services. We also provide regular client visits, as required, and can attend a three-way meeting alongside you.
- We help you connect across generations. When you help families establish a charitable fund with us, you and they can stay involved for generations.
- We provide philanthropy and charity planning seminars for your firm and seminars for your private client gatherings.
Support for your clients
- The Foundation is a matchmaker. We can support your clients to find the most effective charities and community projects addressing their interests. Your client can create a personal charitable portfolio, tapping into our extensive community and knowledge, built over a decade.
- We can support their desired level of engagement, from hands-off anonymity through to involvement of grant award decisions, visiting projects and recognition.
- We can act as the interface between your clients and the charity world by arranging payments on their behalf, removing their name from mailing lists and stopping them being pestered for further donations.
- Your client will receive a personal service, with regular meetings as required. We also provide regular reports, on transactions and fund balance, and on the achievements of supported projects.
