Your fund is in safe hands
The Foundation’s Trustees ensure all funds are distributed for charitable purposes under the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, and that funds are distributed in accordance with your wishes.
We provide a model fund agreement, an example below, between the Foundation and your Charitable Trust, to establish our role and responsibilities in delivering your programme.
We provide a full and transparent audit trail, including documentation of programme priorities and criteria, to application assessment, recommendations and decisions, then to ongoing monitoring of grant recipients in the community.
All services offered by the Scottish Community Foundation are governed by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and HM Revenue & Customs.
