Costs

The Scottish Community Foundation is a charity and we strive to keep our charges to a minimum. We provide support at no cost to assist in assisting in reorganising existing charitable trusts including liaising with OSCR and the council throughout the process of reorganising existing charitable trusts and establishing a new revitalised community fund.

Our fees for managing a new fund are largely based on the complexity of distributing funding. For Annual Funds, these range from 5% - 10% of the annual value of the amount available for distribution. For Endowed Funds, our charges are based on a percentage of the annual capital value, ranging from 0.7% to 1%.
