Background

This fundholder wished to support specific medical research and discussed how best to do this with her tax adviser who recommended the Scottish Community Foundation. Donations are made to the Fund, the Foundation claims and adds Gift Aid, and then grant awards are instructed by the Fundholder. The Foundation ascertains that all awards are for charitable purposes, as part of the due diligence process.
