Women's Fund for Scotland

Set up in 2002 with a grant from the Scottish Government, the Women’s Fund for Scotland exists to support charities and voluntary organisations working with disadvantaged women.

Over £1m has been distributed through the fund, both from the awards made on behalf of the Scottish Government and on behalf of some private individuals wishing to support the fund. An endowment has also been set up to improve the lives of women, in perpetuity.

The Women's Fund for Scotland has a dedicated advisory group to support its growth and development. Awards are made to support women’s groups and charities throughout Scotland.
