Kinross-shire Fund

The Kinross-shire Fund is dedicated to improving the quality of life of everyone who lives in the Kinross-shire community, addressing local issues such as supporting the elderly and young people, community infrastructure and regeneration. Smaller, local organisations often experience difficulties in raising funds for their work, which is why the Fund is so important to the wellbeing of the community.
A local Advisory Group supports the Fund, and raises funds from individuals and companies, which are used to make grants to local charities and voluntary organisations. Some of the funds raised are invested and will enable Kinross-shire to respond to community needs in years to come.
The Advisory Group comprises members of the five local Community Councils, the Kinross-shire Partnership, schools and churches.
Purpose
Funding priorities, such as community welfare and facilities will be selected by the Advisory Group and reviewed regularly to ensure areas of need are addressed and these priorities will guide grant awards.
Please note that the Fund is unable to support core costs or salaries.
