Rio Tinto Alcan Community Awards (Scotland) Charitable Fund

Background

Rio Tinto Alcan is one of the largest employers in the Lochaber area. They have decided to work with the Scottish Community Foundation with a view to formalising the financial assistance they give to local communities.

Purpose

The purpose of the fund is to support local charities and grassroots community groups in and around Lochaber.

How to Apply

Applications are invited from groups fitting the criteria above. Awards will normally be for between £250 and £1,000 and will be administered through our Express Grants programme. If you wish to apply for a large grant (up to £5,000), we may be able to co-fund your application from one of our other supporters. For an application form and guidelines, click here.
