Now Recruiting: Volunteer Grants Assessors
The Scottish Community Foundation is a unique charity dedicated to strengthening communities by awarding grants that make a genuine difference to the lives of local people. In 2008, almost £4 million of Scottish Community Foundation grants will reach grassroots activity in every corner of Scotland.
The Scottish Community Foundation is currently building its team of volunteers who support our grants programmes by assessing applications from community groups and charities and making recommendations to our Grants Committee.
Assessors receive training and support, and work flexibly from home undertaking assessments on a rolling basis. Good written communication and analytical skills are required as well as the ability to attend occasional training events.
Deadline for applications: 3 November 2008
