Background
Angus Macdonald (pictured right with son Donald) has been supporting the Scottish Community Foundation through his involvement with the Caledonian Challenge since its inception in 1996.

Angus, together with his wife Michie, set up the Moidart Trust to support community development and social enterprise projects in the West and North West of Scotland.

Purpose
The Moidart Trust supports projects and organisations working in the West and North West of Scotland. It does this by running two distinct funding programmes.

Community Awards - supporting a wide range of charitable projects.
