Helensburgh Heroes have released a cover version of David Bowie's Heroes.

With a £960 award from the Scottish Community Foundation, the single was produced and recorded by 100 local Helensburgh & Lomond residents, aged seven to 70. The recording is an attempt to raise awareness of both the talented men and woman, past and present, that have hailed from the area. The sales of the single will also provide funding for a potential arts/leisure facility for the area.
