Free legal advice to community organisations
As part of its corporate social responsibility programme, the law firm DLA Piper is now able to offer free legal advice to organisations fulfilling the application criteria for Scottish Community Foundation.
All advice provided is free of charge by volunteer lawyers. If your community organisation is in need of advice on any of the legal areas listed below please do contact us:
- Real estate - reviewing of commercial leases, negotiating with Landlords, general advice in relation to leases and landlord disputes
- Employment - reviewing and drafting of employment contracts, staff handbooks and policies
- Intellectual property - advice in relation to online selling, protecting a logo or product
- Contracts - reviewing and drafting of commercial agreements
- Dispute resolution - advice in relation to resolving disputes - please note representation services cannot be provided
- Debt recovery
