The Foundation provides funding to community groups and charities, particularly those which help to build and sustain communities, often at a very local level through a variety of grants programmes.
Our Scotland-wide programmes (also known as general grants and community grants) provide awards between £250 and £10,000 for a wide range of projects. Subject to eligibility, not-for-profit groups working to benefit people in Scotland can apply to these programmes at any time, although please note that some programmes have annual deadlines.
We have a variety of local grants programmes which benefit people in specific areas of Scotland. Details of these vary, including how much you can apply for, deadline dates, and how decisions are made. See if there are any local funds available in your area in the local grant programmes section.
For further information on our grants programmes, we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions about the Scotland-wide programmes.
